Crafted with a one-of-a-kind SV pottery vessel, this New Mexico collaboration is a must-have. Light it up to enjoy the candle and then the vessel long after the flame has burnt out.

Each vessel is handmade with the iconic look that Sage Valley (formerly Hanselmann Pottery) is known for, made right in Corrales, NM!  Each candle is of Upside Goods Co. best selling scent, Ponderosa Pine + Clove which mixes notes of amber, clove, vanilla and pine that is sure to warm your household and become a must in your candle lineup.

Sage Valley is a staple in the village of Corrales, NM and it's look has been crafted since 1970 and is known for their timeless, heirloom quality wares. Under new ownership we're excited to bring this partnership back after the success and many requests from last year. Their thoughtful, minimal designs are made by hand and have become well-known and loved by so many near and far.  Their non-toxic wares fit perfectly with Upsides mission and ethos and was a no-brainer when dreaming up this collaboration!

Please know that each vessel is made by hand so may have slight variations in size and the candle pour is 11-12oz each for a burn time of around ~80-90 hours when you trim your wooden wick.

To Note
  • All of our products are made to order + made by hand. Variations may occur + are natural.
  • Everyone experiences scents differently regarding strength of the smell. Learn more here.
Care
  • Allow your candle to burn until the full surface has melted - this ensures that your candle reaches a full melt pool + burns evenly for its full life.
  • All wood wicks should be trimmed to 1/4" before relighting every time. We have wick trimmers available or use nail clippers
  • Try not to power burn your candle (burning for longer than 4 hours at a time).
  • Keep an eye out. Place your candle within eyesight + away from any flammable items.

A Classic!

Love the revival of a Corrales Pottery Classic with great, fresh scent ! This is a gift that will give back as a coffee/tea cup once the candle is gone. Genius!

Amazing vessel and scent!

I have been dreaming of a Hanselmann mug for so long and saw this collaboration with a new (to me) candle company. I am very particularly with fragrance and was worried about it. I am so happy I took the risk because the scent is divine and I haven't had headaches as I sometimes have with other candles in the past. I really appreciate the care that Ashley has put into the fragrances to ensure they are phthalate free and low-toxin. I also love the wood wick and the sound it makes! It is so comforting in the winter - even in sunny LA! I can't wait to use the vessel for coffee, drinks, flowers, or decoratively when the candle is gone. Although, I will definitely miss the scent!!

Love this collaboration!

I absolutely love Hanselmann and Upside, and was so excited to see this collaboration. The pottery vessel is beautiful and I know that I will use it even after my candle is gone. The candle also smells amazing. It is the perfect edition to my workspace!

Each candle is hand poured from a small batch of coconut soy wax + fragrance oil.

Quality matters. Our coconut soy wax is free of, toxins, gluten, paraben and phthalates to name a few.
